Order of Battle tutorial for The Old World
Last updated:
This tutorial shows how the Old World side of Order of Battle fits together, from looking up a rule to playing a game. Start in Rules, which is in the menu under The old world. Each entry gives a short summary in our own words and a citation, the book and page where the full rule sits. Read the summary for the idea, then open your book at that page when you need the exact wording. Next, open List builder, tap New list and pick a faction. Set points and a format, choose a General and add units. Flags tell you when a category breaks its limit. Then save the list and tap Play. During the game, the Phases tab walks you through each part of the turn, and the Rules tab shows your army's special rules. If anything in the app disagrees with your book, trust the book and tell us.
Open The Old World lists1. Find a rule
Menu → The old world → Rules. Scroll or jump to a section (turn sequence, combat, magic...).
2. Follow the citation
Each summary ends with Check: book, page. Use it when you need exact wording or a dispute comes up.
3. Build a list
Menu → The old world → List builder → New list. Full walkthrough: how to build an Old World army list.
4. Play
Open the list → Play. Guide: Play for The Old World.
